Although concrete as a material for lighting fixtures has been a sustained trend, the great majority of products feature heavy, often boxy shapes. These concepts were made to evaluate whether more complex forms of concrete table lamp stands could be a viable option for novelty items. The basic idea was to keep the overall cylindrical profile of the fixtures and create pillar like structures as the base.
Although some of the 10 created designs were considered interesting, more simple shapes that resemble products existing in the market were picked for mass production in the end.
