This project was carried out for a manufacturer of a wide variety of table tennis products. The goal was to improve their entry level tables which were sold under various brand names.

The folding mechanism and the low target cost were key challenges in this project. One of the two developed concepts is visually variable not only by color but also by shape through easily modifiable, deep drawn shells.

The second concept focuses on optimizing the look and feel of the current product while reducing its part count.

The functionality of the folding mechanism has been verified by the movement simulation tool in SolidWorks.
